How does it work

cptequinox I am in utter amazment at how simple it is to play these games, and am wondering how it all 'works' I have windows 7 64 bit and the games all just play from a simple download.

How did you guys do this? how did you get all the sound and movement to work so seamlessly from a single download when alot of emulators need fiddling with so much?

I truly am astounded at how simple you have made playing a completely different platform to work so seamlessly, even DOS games are a pain to play in windows 7.

Long story short: Exe are using modified WinUAE emulator.
Thanks to it we are creating and developing Amiga environment.
When we got it - we are preparing game to make it comfortable in that environment. Of course the most significant thing is that game must be in it's latest version with securities/DRMs removed and it could have optional trainer.
I encourage you to press F12 and move to About tab, where you could find credits to all people who helped with creating exes. Without them we wouldn't have them in present form. :gatorlove:

It always amazes me the ingenuity of people :) I didn't know about the F12 thing, will most definitely have a gander :)

You see:

F12 -> Filters -> D3D: AmigaGT and mask: ClassicScanlines.png (only for v2.6 exes)

I've found this topic of interest and thought I'd reply instead of making a new topic.

Massive thanks from me as well.

I have an A1200 which I've expanded to modern day (CF HD, CF PCMCIA etc.) which I'm slowing building up as a games machine as money permits and these games are awesome. So well done.
