Realistic video settings ?

Axag I saw that in the new version 2.6 the video settings are increased, this is certainly a good thing, but I would like to know specifically how can I set the parameters (for rel. 2.5 and 2.6) to replicate exactly the graphics I had on my Amiga years ago.
Can you help me?

Thx a lot ! :-)

Tnx for your answer, but how do I use these settings ?
I mean, after placing the file where I've stored exe's and after the unpacking, how can I load the settings ?
Again, what about the "Display" section by pressing F12 ? What's the correct resolution ?

Thx in advance for your support :-)

Re: Realistic video settings ?

Press F12, do any settings You want, and click on the Configuration section, then click "Save" in this Window ;) Exe file do auto load your settings ;)
Best resolution set as Your monitor resolution. This is auto process.

Sorry for my poor english :)

Re: Realistic video settings ?

Settings.cfg

1. This settings.cfg is only for v2.6 exes.
2. Download v2.6 -> Prince of Persia, Rodland...
3. Unpack settings.cfg
4. Run game - settings.cfg is load automatically :)

Re: Realistic video settings ?

Perfectly clear Anthrox ! ;)

Just about the right aspect ratio on display settings, to emulate the real Amiga settings should I must select 640x256 or 640x512 ?
Edit: I see that 640x400 or 640x480 are available, maybe I should select a windowed mode.....

Re: Realistic video settings ?

Full screen: 720x576 32 (50Hz) PAL
Windowed: 640x512 or 720x576

its hard to exacly replicate amiga resolution, cuz of various modern monitors we have (you should get an old amiga crt monitor or connect your pc to old school crt tv, its a best option). these settings are really close to real look (for better "aspect ratio" view try use bilineral filtering, but it'll be lil bit blury)

here you have real amiga 500 resolutions:
PAL resolution:
320 x 256 (from 2 to 4096 colours),
320 x 512 (from 2 to 4096 colours),
640 x 256 (from 2 to 16 colours),
640 x 512 (from 2 to 16 colours)

those are spec's of european amiga system. but there were other resolutions too:
overscan resolution 768x564,
NTSC 320x200, 320x400, 640x200, 640x400

so as u can see there's a lot of options ;) hope i helped
peace
