Running with command line params?

bajinaji Hi, I don't know if this is a request, or if the the games already support this functionality, but I would like to b able to run a game and have it load a specified save game by default.

Is this possible? Thanks for the help and these awesome interfaces to these wonderful old games,

Rob

Re: Running with command line params?

As for now you can only save 'game state' and then load it through F12 so...

In the current version of our EXEs it is not possible, however we're developing all the time - if you can argument it well and maybe bribe Madame Demonic Female, the ruler of all that is unholy then who knows... ]:->

Re: Running with command line params?

*grin*

My argument is that I am running amiga games from my media center in my lounge room. I'd like to create a save state that bypasses the crack screens and requirements to press space or right mouse button so I can be straight at the game title screen and play Super Frog without needing to move the mouse or keyboard to the couch.

Hey, great work on wonderful editions of Amiga classics.

Re: Running with command line params?

I really like that argumentation, you're honest enough to admit of being lazy :-E

Just the bribery part is left now :tuptup1:

Re: Running with command line params?

name_exe.exe <path_of_sgf>

Game_v2.5.exe c:\bajinaji.sgf

1) you MUST type path
2) don't use " " for <path_of_sgf>

BAD:

bajinaji.sgf
"c:\bajinaji.sgf"

GOOD:

c:\savegame\bajinaji.sgf
