2 buttons ?

dryerlint17 I'm a c-64er and never owned an Amiga. I love playing Banshee. I downloaded it last night. Do some Amiga games use 2 buttons ? If so, how can i map another button ? I tried pressing F12 and mapping it but I can't figure it out. Probably something easy. I've used emulators for 15 years now so I have some experience. Any help? Thanks :mur:

Never mind. I guess you can only use spacebar as second button in Banshee. :killer:

Re: 2 buttons ?

Well technically you are correct, but you can use an outside program with 'The Company' exe files such as Xpadder or possibly Joy2key. The idea behind those programs is for the user to change a keyboard command such as 'Spacebar' for Banshee and map it to a button or joystick movement of your choice through Windows. Google both programs and all should be revealed. It will not work for every game, Chaos Engine springs to mind unless you are playing the CD32 version. Interestingly, you can map the F12 key to your gamepay/joystick for easier access to the menu too; as most Amiga games don't use more than 2 buttons unless you are playing specific CD32 version games. I hope this helps, happy gaming.

Re: 2 buttons ?

This is easy.
Example:

SPACE = FIRE

Replace with:

Re: 2 buttons ?

Nice one Anthrox ;) Yes, or go to the keyboard settings within the menu.
