I had this idea.......Do you think there will be any interest and of course would i be stepping on anyones toes..

1985, BeachHead,And Uridium are downloadable and working...Give them a try...

The whole thing is just a demo ......What do you think ?

I was kind of playing with the idea....I wondered if there was any interest before i got to much into it.
Figured i could do c64 and maybe the Vic.....Funny enough on the c64 sites there isnt a lot of interest.

Perhaps the c64,s are so easy to emulate people dont see it as a collector thing unlike the Amiga.

Vice complete is 18 meg ish
rom a few hundred k
launcher about 10 meg as a program

All compresses to 10 odd meg so it aint so bad as an all in one...i Could probably strip it down to half that if i rip vice apart....even so ..you could fit around 4,300 of these things on a DVD....bet ya couldnt play them all

The whole things only testing the water really....just inspired by The Company exe's

I agree, good idea. It also promotes Commodore and the Amiga too. It could be a sister site, or intergrated into The Company site somehow. Well done on your initial project synchro, hope you continue with it. Personally, I never had the chance to experience the C64, so I would be interested in seeing your results. Soooo....

Its been updated now quite a lot.....I had lots of emails and even a programmer asking me to add his game so i continued a little more....I will be adding more shelf pages after Xmas.

Anyone else like CCs64 better than Vice. I've always got a better fulscreen with CCs64 and crisper graphics. That would be my only complaint. Cool simple way to play c64. Thanks for your awesome program. :-E

I'm all for this, though the challenging ones would be the multidisk games with the saves. I wouldn't mind seeing Legacy of the Ancients and its lesser known but intriguing brother, Legend of Blacksilver, given this sort of treatment.
