Hi there everyone, what an awesome site to relive me gaming days from the late 80's and 90's on the Amiga!

I find the Amiga emulator annoying at times and forever having issues with disk images etc etc.....so thanks for these amazing .exe versions :-)

Just a note - the Rainbow Islands / Bubble Bobble file keeps getting quarantined by my firewall/virus checker with the following reason: "a variant of Win32/Kryptik.BUQX trojan".
Anyone having the same issue? I'm an average PC user so unaware if this is just the type of programme and is completely safe....or not? Thanks for any help.

Hello @Vandit - welcome to our forum :)

If you download exec from our site, then it is 100% virus free. If you got alert from your AV software get rid of that shit and change it to ESET. Because it is false positive and we cannot do too much with this. Also you can try to add executable to some trusted application or some other option in AV software which you use, to disable scanning that executable.

Welcome. My Norton quarantine or delete exes too. But they are free from viruses. Try download exe in another computer with others antivirus.

Thanks for all the replies, much appreciated :)

I use ESET NOD32 - this is what 'was' quarantining that particular file (strange how it was only the Rainbow Islands one).

While I was waiting for my post to be moderated I stumbled upon an article/review from Indie Retro News recommending and praising The Company :-)

They mention at the bottom "Instructions for all games- Download - Run Exe - Select the game to play - Press F12 in game to set up extra settings. The packages have been virus checked, if you get any warnings it's a false positive."

For this reason I simply disabled ESET until I'd downloaded the file......then switched it on again. Sorted!

Again, many thanks for clarifying and replying to my request - and apologies for any doubt I had regarding this false positive. What you guys have done creating the .exe files deserves applauding! And the way the site is presented is very user friendly and retro-stylish :-)

Hopefully Speak Again!

edit: I'm sure your aware of the review I found but if not here it is (if links are not allowed, apologies - let me know if they're not).
